Terms of Service

By using iLoveConverter ("the Service") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service. The Service provides free file-conversion tools that run in your browser. It is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

Acceptable use. You agree not to use the Service to process content you do not have the rights to, to attempt to disrupt the website, or to use automated means that degrade service quality for other visitors.

Your content. Files are processed on your own device; you retain all rights to any content you convert. We claim no licence over your content because we never receive it.

Open-source engines. The Service runs free-software engines locally in your browser: FFmpeg (LGPL), 7-Zip via 7z-wasm (LGPL), Tesseract (Apache-2.0), libarchive (BSD), Pandoc via the official pandoc.wasm (GPL-2.0-or-later), Ghostscript via gs-wasm (AGPL-3.0, used unmodified for PDF/A output) and others. Their license texts are included with the engine files where required; Pandoc's licence is available at /engines/pandoc/COPYING.md and Ghostscript's AGPL licence at https://github.com/ArtifexSoftware/ghostpdl. These programs are used unmodified through their standard interfaces and are not distributed together with this website's code.

No affiliation. The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Adobe, Microsoft, Google, Apple or any other company whose formats or trademarks may appear on this site. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Always keep backups of important files.

Ads. The Service is funded by advertising. Ad content is the responsibility of the advertiser; interactions with advertisers are solely between you and them.

Changes. We may modify these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Questions: contact@iloveconverter.com.
