PDF 形式について
PDF は見た目を固定する文書形式です。フォント・画像・レイアウトをファイル内に埋め込むため、開く環境が違っても同じ体裁で表示されます。契約書、請求書、論文、提出資料まで、送り先が読めることを保証したい場面の標準です。
一方で PDF は編集に向きません。文章を直すには元の形式に戻すか、専用の編集ツールが必要です。編集が必要なら DOCX へ、配布・印刷・長期保存なら PDF へ——この使い分けが実務の基本です。

No artificial limit. Everything runs in your browser, so the practical limit is your device memory — dozens of files and hundreds of megabytes are fine on a modern computer.
Are bookmarks and form fields kept?
Pages, text and images are preserved exactly. Interactive elements like form fields are flattened during the merge — fill them before merging if that matters.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
PDFs that require a password to open cannot be read by any tool without the password. Remove the protection first (e.g. re-export without it), then merge here.
